Refund Policy
This explains how refunds and payment disputes work for payments made through a PayPanda-hosted payment page. Whether a payment can be reversed depends on which payment method you used — read the section for your method before paying.
1. Reversibility depends on the payment method
PayPanda payment pages may offer several payment methods. Each has different rules about whether a completed payment can be undone:
- Card payments: may be eligible for a dispute or chargeback through your card issuer, subject to your issuer's own timelines, evidence requirements, and policies. PayPanda and the vendor cannot control that process, but can provide transaction records if your issuer requests them.
- Bank transfers and P2P transfers (e.g. Zelle, Chime, Venmo, PayPal): are typically final once sent, though the app or bank involved may offer its own limited dispute process — check with them directly.
- Cryptocurrency-settled payments (e.g. Cash App payments settled over the Bitcoin Lightning Network): are final once confirmed on the network. No one — not PayPanda, the vendor, or Cash App — can reverse it.
If you're not sure which category your payment falls into, ask before you pay — the checkout page will tell you which method you're using.
2. Refunds are handled by the vendor, not PayPanda
PayPanda operates the payment page on behalf of the vendor named on that page (for example, The Wealth Empire or House of Berlyn). We pass payment confirmations to that vendor; we do not hold funds, and we cannot independently issue a refund on a vendor's behalf. Refund eligibility, amount, and turnaround time are set by the vendor's own policy, not by PayPanda — this page covers the payment-processing side, not the vendor's product or service terms.
3. If something goes wrong with a payment
- Paid the wrong amount, or the payment session expired mid-payment: contact the vendor's support (see the payment page footer) with your order details before trying again.
- Paid but the vendor says they didn't receive it: contact the vendor first with your payment confirmation. If unresolved, email hello@paypanda.cash with the order ID and payment method, and we'll help investigate on the payment-processing side.
- Believe you were charged in error or as a result of fraud: contact us immediately at hello@paypanda.cash or +1 (410) 901-7475. For reversible methods (card, some bank transfers) your issuer may also be able to help directly; for irreversible methods (crypto-settled payments) the earlier you reach out the more we can do, since we cannot undo the transaction ourselves.
4. What we need to look into a payment
To investigate a payment, provide the order ID (shown after checkout), the payment method used, the approximate amount and date, and the name or number used on the payment page. We verify payment status directly against the relevant payment processor before responding to any dispute.
5. No cash value, no resale
Any product, service, credit, or entry a vendor provides in exchange for a payment is governed by that vendor's own terms, not by PayPanda. PayPanda has no ability to grant, restore, or reverse whatever the vendor issued in exchange for the payment.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, including as new payment methods are added. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change.
This page is a general-purpose template, not legal advice. Refund and cancellation rules — and what you're required to disclose to customers about them — vary by state, by payment method (irreversible cryptocurrency-settled payments in particular carry real consumer-protection and disclosure considerations), and by industry (particularly regulated categories like insurance or debt relief). Have a lawyer review this before publishing it, and make sure each vendor's own refund terms are consistent with it.
