Privacy Policy

This policy explains what PayPanda collects on paypanda.cash and on the hosted payment pages we operate for approved vendors (for example, pages under /pay/<vendor>/), and what we do with it. It applies no matter which payment method a given page uses.

1. Who this covers

PayPanda ("PayPanda", "we", "us") operates paypanda.cash and hosted payment pages for approved vendors. This policy covers those pages. It does not cover any third-party app, bank, card network, or payment processor a payment page hands you off to — their own privacy policy applies once you leave our page.

2. Information we collect

On the vendor sign-up form (paypanda.cash), we collect the business name, business type, email address, and phone number you submit.

On a payment page, we collect the amount you enter, the name and optional contact number you provide, your IP address, a timestamp, and which payment method you used, so the correct vendor can identify and confirm your payment.

We do not collect card numbers, bank account or routing numbers, wallet passwords, or government ID numbers on any PayPanda page, regardless of payment method. Payment credentials are entered only inside the payment app, card form, or bank flow you're directed to — never on paypanda.cash itself.

3. How we use it

  • To generate and track a payment, and confirm with the vendor once it's paid
  • To respond to vendor sign-up enquiries
  • To provide customer support when you contact us
  • To detect and prevent fraud or abuse of our payment pages

4. Who we share it with

Payment amount and status are shared with the vendor whose payment page you used, since they need this to fulfill your order. Depending on the payment method, invoice or transaction data passes through the relevant payment processor to generate and verify that payment. Payment confirmations are posted to that vendor's private order-tracking channel. Vendor sign-up enquiries are processed through Web3Forms, our form-delivery provider. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. How long we keep it

Payment records are kept for as long as reasonably needed for support, accounting, and dispute handling, then deleted or anonymized. Vendor enquiry submissions are kept until the enquiry is resolved and for a reasonable period after for our records.

6. Your choices and rights

You can ask us what information we hold about a specific payment or enquiry, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@paypanda.cash. We'll respond within a reasonable time. Some information (like a completed payment record) may need to be retained for legal or accounting reasons even after a deletion request.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we've collected about you, request deletion of it, correct inaccurate information, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect. Submit requests to the email above.

Depending on where you live, you may have similar rights under other state or national privacy laws; the contact method above works for any of them.

7. Security

Payment pages are served over HTTPS. We don't store payment credentials, and access to payment data is limited to what's needed to operate the service. No online system is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to us.

8. Children

Our pages are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of our pages after an update means you accept the revised policy.

10. Contact us

Questions about this policy: hello@paypanda.cash or +1 (410) 901-7475.

This page is a general-purpose template, not legal advice. Privacy law varies by state (CCPA/CPRA in California and similar laws elsewhere) and country (e.g. GDPR in the EU/UK), and requirements can differ by payment method and industry. Have a lawyer review and adapt this before relying on it, especially for the specific vendor categories on this platform.
